Luhmuhlen – Laura Collett and London 52 Take Their Third 5* Victory

Laura Collett and London 52  delivered a clear round inside the time to finish on their dressage score of 20.3 and deliver their third five-star win, having won Pau 5* in 2020 and Badminton in 2022 (all finishing on dressage score).

Kitty King with Vendredi Biats (owned by Diana Bown, Sally Lloyd Baker, Sally Eyre and Samantha Wilson) finished on 27.2 to take the runner-up slot, having only added 0.4 of a time penalty to their dressage score.

Reigning World Champion Yasmin Ingham with the Irish bred Rehy DJ (owned by the Sue Davies Fund) jumped a clear round with just a time fault to retain overnight third place.

Harry Meade with  Tenareze produced a perfect clear inside the time, to finish on their dressage score of 30.7 to take fifth place .

Tom Jackson and Farndon were one of just four combinations to finish on their dressage score, to finish in sixth place.

Oliver Townend and the ISH Swallow Springs finished in seventh

Oliver Townend with Tregilder had two rails down which dropped them from overnight seventh, to finish in ninth place.

German five-star debutant Jérôme Robiné with the Irish bred Black Ice, finished in tenth.

It was a first run at five-star level for Monbeg By Design, ridden by Ireland’s Susie Berry.  The combination placed 27th at the World Championships in Pratoni last year, where the Irish team gained their olympic qualification.  Susie was delighted with ‘Arthur” taking eleventh at his first run at this level

Felicity Ward and Regal Bounty made their five-star debut at Luhmuhlen last year. After producing a perfect cross country within the time this year, moving them up the leaderboard from 33rd to 15th position. Two rails down in the showjumping denied them a further climb up the leaderboard, but still left them finishing in 15th place
