CHIO Aachen 2025 – Irish Eventing Team Update

After the dressage and showjumping phases, Ireland sits 7th on the leaderboard heading into tomorrow’s cross-country test.

Padraig McCarthy with MGH Zabaione (ISH) is currently the top-placed Irish rider, holding 8th individually going into the final phase. Padraig added just 0.8 of a time penalty to his dressage score of 32.2.

Sarah Ennis with DOUROUGH FERRO CLASS ACT (ISH) accrued 12.4 penalties which dropped the combination down 10 places on the leaderboard, so they go into tomorrow’s cross country in 39th place.
