Louise Bloomer & Hollybrook SkyHigh win the first O/CNC2* of the 2016 season

Louise Bloomer and the grey Puissance gelding, Hollybrook Sky High took the honours in the Connollys Red Mills Super League O/CNC2* at the first event of the 2016 season, at Rosanna on 13th March, beating Sarah Ennis and BLM Diamond Delux into second with only 0.26 penalties between them. Dressage leader Cathal Daniels and Sammy Davis Junior finished in third place after 6.4 penalties X/C and 4 in the S/J.

The cross country time proved impossible to reach with all combinations incurring penalties. Closest to the time was Sarah Ennis and BLM Diamond Delux who arrived home with 3.6 time penalties.
Sarah Ennis & Fortmoy Cushla finished the cross country with 8 penalties in hand ahead of Adam Haugh & Master Gold Touch (who finished second), so emerged victorious in the CNC2* despite 4 penalties in the SJ phase. Sarah also took third place with Woodcourt Garrison.

Louise Bloomer’s success continued with winning the O/CNC* with Cavamiro. Kim O’Gorman & Tooth Fairy were second and Gerald Bloomer & Calliaghstown Flight in third position. X/C time, again proved to be a problem in this section.
