Nine Irish competitors (including two of the WEG silver medal team), are heading to the Netherlands for the CCI(O)3* at Military Boekelo-Enschede 11th– 14thOctober. Boekelo is host to the final leg of the FEI Nations Cup™
Gerald Bloomer with Jane Bloomer’s Calliaghstown Flight (14 y/o gelding by Laughton’s Flight). Winner of the O/CNC2* at Clyda in August. Placed 16th in the CIC3* at Ballindeniskk International last month.
Louise Bloomer with her own Puissance gelding, Hollybrook High In The Sky, who placed 10th in the CIC3* at Ballindenisk.
Meabh Bolger with her own 12 y/o gelding Killossery Athletic Touch (by Out of Touch). Placed 16th in the CICO3* at Millstreet International in August and placed 4th in the CNC3* at Ballindenisk in July.
Declan Cullen with his own 9 y/o skewbald gelding Seavaghan Ash (by Glenhill Gold), were members of the Irish team in the Nation’s Cup at Boekelo in 2017, jumping clear cross country with 7.2 time penalties. They were also members of the Nations Cup team at Houghton Hall in May, jumping clear within the time cross country. Winner off the O/CNC2* at Loughanmore in September.
WEG team silver medallist, who also placed 5th individually in Tryon, Sarah Ennis rides Breda Kennedy’s 9 y/o gelding, Woodcourt Garrison(by Garrison Royal). Winner of the O/CNC2* at Grove on 30th Sept. 13th in the CICO3* at Millstreet International and 11th in the CIC3* at Kilguilkey International, this year.
Aidan Keogh with his own 10 y/o mare Pride Of Tredstep by Lord Noble (TB), placed 2nd in the CNC3* National Championships this year, 6th in the CIC3* at Camphire and 18th in the CIC3* at Luhmuhlen and was on the Irish team at Houghton Hall.
Brian Morrison with the 10 y/o gelding, Global Milchem, owned by Global Event Horses Ltd. 12th in the CICO3* at Millstreet International. 3rd in the CNC3* at Ballindenisk (2) in July.
Another WEG team silver medallist Sam Watson ( who has just moved into the top ten in the FEI Eventing World Rankings ) will compete with Tullabeg Flamencoowned by David Bogossian. The dun 9 y/o gelding is by Tullabeg Fusion.
Tegan White-McMorrow with her own 13 y/o skewbald gelding, Texan Style, competed Boekelo in 2016. They were placed 4th in the O/CNC2* at Grove on 30th Sept.
