Andrew Nicholson wins his first Badminton title

Andrew Nicholson and Nereo are the Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials  champions. A clear left him on his dressage score, while Michael Jung and Ingrid Klimke both picked up jumping faults. Michael Jung and La Biosthetique-Sam FBW had one fence down, whilst overnight leader Ingrid Klimke and Horseware Hale Bob had 3 fences down as well as a refusal.
