Galway rider Cathal Daniels and Margaret Kinsella ‘s Rioghan Rua are set to make their debut at the 4* Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials next month (3rd – 7th May).
Cathal Daniels won Team and Individual Gold medals at the pony European Championships in 2012.
In 2013, he went on to win team Gold and individual 7th place at the junior European Championships in Jardy, France with Rioghan Rua.
In 2014, Cathal and Rioghan Rua took Team Gold and Individual Silver at the Junior European Championships in England.
The combination placed 12th in the 4* at Pau in 2016.
