The second weekend of the return to eventing saw the action move to Ballindenisk in Co. Cork. The event was run under very strict Covid-19 compliance, so every effort is being made to ensure that the sport can continue. Nobody could enter the event if they were not named on the list. The masks came out again for the cross country phase; these have to be worn in case a rider has a fall and may require medical assistance.
As there are no live scoreboards now due to the Covid restrictions, it was wonderful to be able to follow live results all day, through the Ballindenisk App. (which was built by Kate Fell).
The cross country course was a lovely galloping track, and a perfect outing for some of Ireland’s top horses who are just returning to competition after the long shutdown.
