Dressage completed at Military Boekelo (Netherlands) today, with competitors being thankful of the excellent all-weather arena, as the rain was torrential at times. Rain is also forecast for tomorrow’s cross country.
In the individual placings, less than three points separate the top 5. Alex Hua Tian with Don Geniro (China) are in the lead on 37.3, with Tim Lips and Bayro (NED) second on 39.1 and Christopher Burton and Quality Purdy (AUS) on 39.3.
Only 27.1 penalties separate 1st and 98th place after the dressage, so tomorrows cross country will be highly influential. The optimum time on the course is 10 minutes, 3 seconds, and it is very likely that time will play a big part in the results.
