The 52nd edition of Military Boekelo is its biggest yet, with 112 combinations, representing 14 nations. Boekelo is also the finale of the FEI Eventing Nations Cup™, with 11 nations taking part.
Ireland fields 13 combinations this year, and the Irish Team was announced after the first horse inspection. The team will be:

Sam WATSON with Ballyneety Rocketman [IRL]

Robbie KEARNS with Ballyvillane OBOS [IRL]

Ian CASSELLS with Shanbo Super Flex [IRL]

Clare ABBOTT with Jewelent [IRL]
Paperwork issues caused problems for some of the British competitors leaving the UK, and they only managed to make it just in time for the trot up, although they had to trot up out of order. These included World Champion Yasmin Ingham and European Champion Ros Canter.
