Brian Morrison wins the O/CNC2* at Clyda (1) 16th April

A very narrow margin divided the top three places in the O/CNC2* section at Clyda in Co. Cork. Brian Morrison and the 8 y/o Ballymolloy Rogan finished on their dressage score to take the top slot  This follows their 4th place at Tyrella  in the O/CNC2* on 1st April, and their 2nd place in the  O/CNC1* at Ballindennisk on 19th March. Tessa Harley and  Catsky were just 1 point behind to finish in 2nd ,with Alison Holden  riding Eamon Holden‘s  O My Balladeer just 0.1 points behind that to finish in 3rd.

Jessica O’Driscoll  with  Clooney MS took the first slot in the CNC2* ahead of Shannon Nelson and OLS Pixie Hollow in 2nd and Cathal Daniels  and Greenfort Marbridge in 3rd. Time proved to be fairly tight in this section, with no combinations completing in the time allowed.

Michelle Kenny and RLE Egane won the EI100,  an impressive start to this horse’s EI career. The combination were in the lead after dressage, so two double clears clinched the victory finishing on 24.8 penalties. Camilla Speirs finished closely behind and took both the next two slots with the 5 y/o BT Jump the Gun (finishing on 25 penalties)  and Lexington (25.5 penalties).
