A clear round show jumping from Cathal Daniels and Rioghan Rua helped Ireland to claim the Bronze medal at the FEI European Eventing Championships for Young Riders at Strzegom, Poland. After the elimination of Harold Megahey & Chuckelberry on the cross country yesterday, Ireland had no option of a discard score. Susie Berry & Carsonstown Athena finished with four jumping faults, while Tony Kennedy & Westeria Lane had eight jumping faults and two time faults.

Silver: Germany – final score of 140.40 penalty points.
Bronze: Ireland – final score 164.80 penalty points
