The cross-country phase across all levels, held on Saturday, March 21st at the Centro Ecuestre de Castilla y León, brought an exciting and decisive conclusion to the short-format classes at Segovia.
Following competitive dressage and showjumping phases earlier in the week, final classifications were confirmed in the CCI4*-S, CCI3*-S, CCI2*-S and CCI1* divisions, in a competition that attracted strong entries and notable international combinations.
🏆 CCI4*-S
France dominated the top of the leaderboard, with Benjamin Massie, the current FEI World No. 12, securing victory aboard Guess Star on a final score of 46.8.

Spain’s best result came from Antonio Cejudo Caro, who delivered an impressive performance to finish second with Duque HSM on 62.6. Fellow French rider Lucas Brun completed the podium in third with Happy de Brion (65).

🏆 CCI3*-S
The CCI3*-S saw another strong international showing, with French rider Mereana Fischer taking the win aboard Forest Jump Marcyan, continuing an excellent run of form across the weekend.

🏆 CCI2*-S
French dominance continued in the CCI2*-S, where Mereana Fischer claimed a second victory of the weekend with Invictus de Lourme AA, underlining her standout performance at the event.

🏆 CCI1* Intro
At CCI1* level, Spain’s Álvaro Blanco-Traba Centenera took the win with Rayo Migalinda, rounding off a successful competition for the home nation.

🏆 CCI2*-L
The CCI2*-L, which concluded on Sunday, saw Julie Simonet take top honours with Jupiter d’Orchis, who was a top 20 finisher in the six-year-old FEI World Breeding Championship at Le Lion d’Angers, in 2025, delivering a consistent performance across all three phases to secure victory, finishing on their dressage score of 26.3. Julie Simonet is aiming Jupiter d’Orchis at the 7-year-old World Championship later this year.
Spain’s Isabel Diaz Verdugo claimed an excellent runner-up finish with Everes DV 34 67, while France’s Lucas Brun completed the podium in third aboard Icare des Deves.
