Classic Moet and Faerie Dianimo are retired.

World Number 2, Jonelle Price has announced the the retirement of both  Classic Moet (AKA Molly) and  Faerie Dianimo (AKA Maggie May). The two mares, both owned by Trisha Rickard’s, have played an enormous part in Jonelle’s career.

Jonelle and Classic Moet won Badminton in 2018, and this year completed there for the fourth time, finishing 11th. They were fourth at Burghley this year.

Winner Luhmühlen 2018, and placed second in 2018  and then third this year (2022).

Jonelle said “With the season drawing to a close, sadly the time has come to officially call time on these two incredible mares careers and break the news to Molly that she won’t be going to Badminton!

They have done so much for my career – taught me how to compete on the world stage and together made many dreams, reality. I will miss them hugely and forever be indebted to them for all that they did for me. Trisha Rickards, not only their owner but one of the most knowledgeable horse ladies I’ve met, thank you for entrusting me with Molly and Maggie’s journey. I owe them everything”.
