Eventing Ireland have announced that Jomiluti, Equipe Saddles Ireland and Amerigo Saddles Ireland are on board to sponsor the EI110 Pony, EI100 Pony and EI90 Pony Leagues respectively.
The Pony Leagues started at Blackstairs 1 in Wexford on 19 March and will run until the National Eventing Championships, taking place at Lisgarvan House, Ballon on the 10-11 September 2022.
Jomiluti will sponsor prizes to the value of €1,000 for the EI110P Pony League
Equipe Saddles Ireland will sponsor prizes to the value of €1,000 for the EI100 Pony League.
Amerigo Saddles Ireland will sponsor prizes to the value of €1,000 for the EI90 Pony League.
This sponsorship will also incorporate prizes for the League final results and the National Eventing Championships EI110P, EI100P and EI90P classes. League points will be allocated for top six and completion points.
We are very excited about this league and feel it will be a great incentive for the kids to follow the League tables and be rewarded for their efforts throughout the year.
Eventing Ireland Chairman, Chris Hunt added “Having three sponsorship opportunities to support our grass-roots pony athletes at EI110P, EI100P and EI90P level is a fantastic boost to the sport as it gives all our pony athletes at all levels a chance to compete in their own leagues throughout the year. We wish all the athletes the very best and look forward to the National Championships to meet our top 6!”The three Pony Leagues will be updated weekly, after each event.
The details of the League are as follows:
- The Jomiluti EI110P, Equipe Saddles Ireland EI100P and Amerigo Saddles Ireland EI90P Leagues are to run at all national events starting at Blackstairs on 19 March and concluding at The National Eventing Championships on 10-11 September 2022.
- All Athletes and Ponies must be registered with Eventing Ireland
- All points count
- Points cannot be transferred from one League to another – each League is standalone
- The results will be taken from the final results published on the EI website each week
- In the event of a tie for any placings 1st-6th at the end of the season, the last three results of each competitor will be checked, as per the Equality Rule 19.5 in the EI Rule Book, and the decision reached will be final.
- Pictures of winners from the Leagues may be used for publicity purposes on Eventing Ireland and sponsors websites as well as social media pages and should any parent/guardian not be in agreement with this, to contact Angela O Ryan and Head Office
