All 80 horses passed the first horse inspection today at the Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials . There was a large crowd of spectators watching the trot-up, in spite of the chilly weather conditions.

Competitors fashion was worth seeing, with many stylish outfits being sported by the men as well as the women. Emily Gilruth lost one shoe as she trotted up the ‘runway’ and the other shoe on her way back, so returned barefoot!
