The ever popular event hosted by the Ponsonby family at Grove gained the maximum number of 300 entries, as expected, for their first event of the 2017 season. For many of the competitors it was a perfect warm up for the Kilguilkey House International.

Bethany Burton was on top form at Grove, winning both sections of the CNC1* with Cooley horses. Lissyegan Cooley finished on a dressage score of 29.0 to win the A section and One Cooley also finished on a dressage score of 27.0 to win the B section.

Stephanie Stammschroer & Master Swatch finished on a dressage score of 28.8 to win the CNCJ* section. This combination recently finished 10 thirteenth place at Tattersalls International CCIJ1*. Master Swatch is one of Stephanie’s two entries for the Eventing Ireland CICJ1* at Fernhill Sport Horses Kilguilkey House International which starts this week.
