British eventer Harry Meade has taken  over the top spot in the FEI Eventing World Athlete Rankings for the first time in his career.

Harry Meade’s rise to the number one position comes after a run of outstanding results, including top-four finishes at both Kentucky and Badminton 5*this spring. At Kentucky, he placed third with Et Hop du Matz and fourth with Grafennacht, before returning to Badminton to take fourth and sixth with Cavalier Crystal and Superstition. His consistency at  five-star level was also evident last year at Burghley, where he finished third and fourth with Cavalier Crystal and Annaghmore Valoner.

In second is Tom McEwen, and in third is Ros Canter .
