The Irish team (defending their title) were trailing Germany after the dressage and cross country phases at Bishop Burton, however all turned around after the show jumping on the final day when the team delivered perfect clear rounds from all riders. Germany were unable to match the Irish team and had to settle for Silver medal position, with France slotting in to Bronze.
Irish team member Cathal Daniels from Galway also took the Individual Silver.
