World No. 2, New Zealand’s Jonelle Price wins the Pau5* 2022 with Grappa Nera after producing one of only three clear rounds within the time allowed. This comes just after her husband (World No. 1 and last year’s Pau winner) Tim Price’s win at the Maryland 5* .

France’s Karim Florent Laghouag, finished second with his Tokyo partner Triton Fontaine, after jumping clear with 0.4 of a time fault. Karim’s round drew thundering applause from the crowd, after clearing the last fence. It is wonderful to see both the enthusiasm of the enormous crowd as well as the French riders interaction with their fans.

New Zealand’s Caroline Powell riding the 9 year old Irish Sport Horse Greenacres Special Cavalier (bred by Michael Callery) finished fifth after producing a clear within the time, moving her up two places.
