The second Killossery event of 2019 took place on Saturday 8th June, once again attracting a large entry, proving how popular this venue has become.
EI110 (Open)
Steven Smith took the two top placings in the EI110 (Open) with Derryinver Girl finishing on dressage score of 31.0 to win, whilst Newferry Jagermeister who picked up 4 time penalties to take 2nd on 34.8. Louise Nicholson with Drumaknockan Easter Charm, finished on 40.3 to take 3rd.
EI110 – A
The top two placings were the only combinations to finish on their dressage score . Dressage leader Amanda Goldsbury with Right On Q, was the winner on a score of 30.5, while Adam Haugh with Stonehavens Star Quality, finished on 33.5 to take 2nd. Lucy Hanna with Rock Babylon finished on an identical score to take 3rd(having picked up 2 time penalties on the cross country).
EI110 – B
The top three were separated by just 1.1 penalties in this section. The winner was Patrick Whelan with Cecil Bready, who finished on a dressage score of 32.8, with Adam Haugh taking 2ndin this section as well, this time with Carsonstown Cruise finishing on dressage score of 33.8. Nicola Ennis with Corbally Diamond picked up 4.4 time penalties which left her on a final score of 33.9 to take 3rd.
ISH Eventing Series EI110 6yo Class
It was Daniel Anderson who held the top two placings after dressage. With Belline Warrenstown Cruz, he was the only one to complete the cross country within the time allowed, to win the class on dressage score of 28.1 . Daniel also took 2nd with Derena Super Star, who picked up just 0.8 of a time penalty on the cross country, finishing on 30.3. Ian Cassells with Woodendfarm Jack O D, finished on 31.4 to take 3rd.
EI110 (J)
Dressage results were critical in this section as all combinations picked up cross country penalties. Winner was Tola Thompson with Crackerjack VIII, finishing on 69.0, Lucy Johnston with Bluestone Jupiter finished on 72.5 to take 2nd, and Hannah Morrow with My Good Thyne Girl, finished in 3rd on a score of 79.2.
EI110 (P)
There was only one competitor in this section, Tom Rowlatt-McCormick with Mon Ami Tonnerre,just added time cross country time penalties to their dressage score to finish on 49.1.
EI110 (Amateur)
In the amateur section James Green and Mr Tequila Dancer picked up just 4.8 time penalties on the cross country, leaving them on a winning score of 33.2, well ahead of Lorraine Kennedy with Major Furisto, who finished 2ndon 68.3 and Lynsey Napier-Sneddon with Carsonstown Porsch in 3rdon 72.4.
ISH Eventing Series EI100 5yo Class
Only 2 penalties separated the top three, all finishing on dressage score. It was however Camilla Speirs with BT Juste Capitaine who finished on 28.3 to hold the lead. Amanda Goldsbury with Murph’s Legend finished in 2nd on 29.3, and Steven Smith with MMF Churchill who finished on 30.3 to take 3rd.
Hoofprints Innovations EI100 Amateur
Tory Berber with Ta Daa was the clear winner of this section, completing on an excellent dressage score of 23.3. Rebecca O’Toole with Glenedens LanceaLittle also finished on dressage score of 31.8 to take 2nd, with Christina Turley and Ann’s Bob just 0.8 of a penalty behind on 32.5 to take 3rd.
EI100 (P)
An excellent dressage score of 26.3 allowed Matthew Love with Rockislands Dara Og, to hold the lead in spite of picking up 4.8 time penalties to finish on 31.1. Sarah E Moore and Kilgarvin Morning Misty finished on dressage score of 33.8 to take 2nd, with Christina Turley and Ann’s Bob also finishing on dressage score of 35.0 to take 3rd.
EI100 (J)
The top three all finished on their dressage scores. The win went to Ted O’Leary with My Ballintoghers Cracker Jack, in 2nd place was Rebecca Moore with Josie Dream on 32.0, and 3rd was Nadine Dunne with Rico Zippy Sparrow on 35.5.
EI100-A
Again in this section, the top three all finished on dressage score. The winner was Ian Cassells with Chinouk Van De Heihoek Z finishing on an excellent dressage score of 22.0. Ian also took 2nd with Halltown Glen on 26.3, whilst Charlotte Dixon with Western Johnny took 3rd on 26.5.
EI100 – B
Heidi Hamilton with Johan-Some, took the win on a score of 27.0. Elizabeth Hayden with Headleys Daredevil took 2nd on 28.5 and Leila Barker with King Imp took 3rd on 29.3. All three finished on dressage scores.
