Laura Collett in pole position at Military Boekelo

After the second day of the dressage at Military Boekelo, Netherlands, Great Britain’s Laura Collett,has taken the lead with Dacapo, on a score of 23.7 penalties.

In second position is Germany’s Julia Krajewski with the ten-year-old gelding Nickel 21, on 24.4 penalties, and in third is  Malin Hansen-Hotopp with the 12-year-old gelding Carlitos (25.2). The fourth spot is also held by a German rider:  Emma Brüssau with the 15-year-old mare Dark Desire (26.6). Great Britain’s Sarah Bullimore, who was in the lead with Corimiro (26.6), dropped to fifth place going into tomorrow’s cross country.

FEI Nations Cup

In the Nations Cup competition, Germany have taken the lead, ahead of Great Britain (80.4) and France (87.8) with 76.2 penalties. Ireland are in sixth on 95.8.

The highest placed Irish combination after dressage is Susie Berry with  KILCANDRA CAPITOL on 31.2

Pathfinder
Belgian rider Karin Donckers will be the pathfinder for the slightly shortened cross-country on Saturday morning with Fletcha van ‘t Verahof at 9.30am. Ireland’s Aoife Clark will be directly after that.
