The Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials is one of only six 4* events in the world, and attracts entries from some of the world’s greatest event riders. This year it will commence on Wednesday 6th May and runs to Sunday 10th May.
The course has been designed for the second year running, by Giuseppe Della Chiesa. This year the course flows in the opposite direction to last year. Last year’s course was tough, and took it’s toll with 25 eliminations and 18 riders retiring.

Clare Abbott and Euro Prince made their Badminton debut last year and completed the course in 27th position Joseph Murphy and Sportsfield Othello finished in 31st place last year .
