The National Championships which ran over two days at Tattersalls this weekend (8th-9th Sept) drew 400 entries.
The 2017 winner of the CNC3* National Championships, sponsored by Connollys Red Mills, is Aidan Keogh with his own 15-year-old Kings Master gelding Master Tredstep who finished on a score of 54.5 . The combination completed the 4* at Lexington, Kentucky earlier this year.
Joseph Murphy took both second and third slots with Sportsfield Othello finishing on 57.1 and Gorsehill Pearl,who was the only horse to finish on his dressage score with 57.8. Joseph also claimed the 5th slot with H L Mrs Imp. Declan Cullen took fourth with Seavaghan Ash on 58.1

In the Hoofprints Innovations O/CNC2* championships, the honours went to Sarah Ennis with Breda Kennedy’s Woodcourt Garrison who finished on their dressage score of 47.3. Emma Jackson with Silken Allure took second slot and Stephanie Stammschroer with Master Swatch took third.
In the 4 and y year old classes it was Fraser Duffy who dominated, winning the ISH Studbook Young Horse EI100 5YO with Fernhill Sky High and the ISH Studbook Young Horse EI90 4YO with Fernhill Candy Crush
