Now two Irish Combinations on their dressage score
After a successful appeal, Cathal Daniels and Rioghan Rua (owned by Margaret Kinsella), are now in 8th place in the CCI4* at Luhmühlen . Cathal had been given 50 penalties for missing a flag on the cross country course today. Rioghan Rua’s head, neck and shoulder had passed within the flags, but he had been given 50 penalty points.
Cathal and Sam now both go into the final phase on 33.6 penalties, the same total as Sam Watson and Horseware Ardagh Highlight. Sam finished with a time of 11.11, which was closer to the optimum time of 11.17 . Cathal completed in a time of 11.08.
