will make their first Burghley appearance

Cathal and the 15.1hh Rioghan Rua were 12th at Pau 4* in 2016 and then took on the 4* Badminton course in 2017, going clear.

This year’s Land Rover Burghley has drawn entries from Australia, France, Germany, Ireland, New Zealand, Italy, Sweden, USA and the UK .

The entry list includes many former Burghley winners; 2010 champion Caroline Powell, 2009 winner Oliver Townend and 2015 winner and three-time Olympic gold medallist, Germany’s Michael Jung.
Zara Tindall a former runner up at Land Rover Burghley, will be riding her World Equestrian Games silver medal horse High Kingdom. Nicola Wilson, Kristina Cook and Piggy French all members of Team GB will be travelling to Land Rover Burghley directly from the European Championships.
