Ballinamona’s second 2* event of the season in the beautiful parkland at Ballinamona Equestrian Centre took place on 7th September.
Sam Watson with the 9 y/o gelding Horseware Lukeswell took the honours in the first class of the day, the O/CNC2*, finishing on his dressage score of 27.7, beating Ciaran Glynn and November Night into second slot with a final score of 33.1

Melanie Ashe took the O/CNC* on the 7 y/o Beach Ball gelding Annaghmore Hero, and also took second slot with the Errigal Flight gelding Rathmolyon Flight. Just 2 points separated the two places. Anna Lavery with Krafty Harry who stood in second place after the dressage, had to settle for third position after 4 faults in the show jumping.
