The conclusion of the HSI Eventing Development series took place at Ballindenisk, Co.Cork on the 7th November. Horse Sport Ireland had sponsored a prize fund of €7,000 for the winning combinations in the age classes and to breeders of the winning young horses.
Peter Fell had produced a beautiful track, and the weather also played a great part on the day.
It was a great return to competition for Trish Ryan who has been sidelined after an injury earlier in the year, when she won the six year old section with The Game Changer (Owned by Carol and Tom Henry). Mike Ryan then went on to win the five year old section with JVK Eclipse, and take third with Via Victory (both owned by Carol and Tom Henry).
The largest class of the day was the four year old section, where it was Nicky Roncoroni who took the top three slots.
